10 Home Remedies to Get Glowing and Glowing Skin


Glowing color is something that everyone loves. A bright, smooth skin, free of blemishes, is a blessing but in today’s stressful, fast-paced life, maintaining a radiant skin is not easy.

Food choices are important, and so is skin care using natural products. You don’t have to buy expensive cosmetics, just go to your kitchen and check out these products that will lighten and brighten your skin tone. These may take some time to show change but in the long run they are very effective and will improve your skin permanently.

Home Remedies:

Honey

Honey has been found to be the best way to moisturize and nourish any skin type. It has soothing and moisturizing effects that keep the skin looking youthful. Take honey, which contains healthy bacteria, massage it into the skin and leave it for 8-10 minutes before washing it off. It not only nourishes but also helps in removing dead skin cells.

Yellow

Turmeric is a common spice that contains the key ingredient curcumin and has natural antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. Not only does it give your skin a glow, but it also helps to reduce inflammation and rejuvenate the skin.

Make a paste by mixing half a teaspoon of turmeric powder with gram flour and adding few drops of rose water to the water. Apply it on the face and neck and wash it off with cold water.

coconut oil

A natural ingredient used to aid in skin barrier repair, provide anti-bacterial protection against infection, reduce inflammation, promote healing and slow skin aging and provide antioxidants. It works best for dry and dull skin to lock in the moisturizer. You can use it as a scrub twice a week while exfoliating your skin with sugar, and heat the oil slightly, massage it in a circular motion for a couple of minutes and leave it on overnight.

Aloe Vera

A temperate plant with medicinal properties that can grow anywhere and has been used for centuries. It has healing properties that rejuvenate the skin and stimulate new skin growth giving it a natural and healthy glow. Mix aloe vera with turmeric, honey, milk and water and apply it on the face and neck and gently massage it for about 15-20 minutes. Wash with warm water and pat dry and see results in no time.

Baking soda scrubs

It helps to remove dead skin cells and neutralize the skin. It contains antibacterial properties that prevent skin infections. You can make a baking soda paste with warm water or honey or olive oil and massage it gently on your face. Leave for 10 minutes and wash off with cold water.

Papaya

Papaya, an enzyme found in papaya, helps skin repair and boosts collagen production when treated directly on the skin. This humble fruit can be used time and time again in various treatments and promises to provide positive results. Contains vitamin A and papain to help nourish and moisturize the skin. Take a bowl of mashed papaya and add honey to it and gently rub it on your face for five minutes, first wash it off with milk and Thai water and feel how clear your skin becomes after just one use.

Cucumber

Cucumber is very helpful for people with sensitive and acne-prone skin. Cucumber water can be used as a face mask or slices can be placed on the eyes to avoid puffiness or rubbed on the skin to increase the glow of your skin. Grate the cucumber and add a spoonful of curd to it and beat it well. Apply and keep for 5 minutes and then wash off with cold water.

Olive oil

Olive oil provides an excellent source of vitamins A, D, E and K. However, avoid using cheap olive oil. It acts as a moisturizer and gives a natural glow to the skin. It protects the skin from damage and free radicals. Take a few drops and apply on the skin. Gently massage in upward circles, leave for three to five minutes, then dip a towel in warm water, place it on your face for 30-40 seconds, and gently wipe off the oil.

Sugar

One of the best natural exfoliants is sugar. Sugar scrubs help remove dead skin and are gentle and help restore skin’s lost glow by cleaning out all the debris in the pores. Take a spoonful of sugar, mix it with garland and gently massage it on your face. After 10 minutes wash and dry.

Lemon

Lemons naturally contain vitamin C and citric acid, which help remove tan and reduce oiliness of the skin. It makes your skin more radiant. Mix lemon juice and sugar and apply the mixture on your face and leave it for 5-7 minutes. Wash off with cold water and apply the mixture twice a week.
