Actor Raj Arjun opens up about his role in Love Hostel and the reactions he is getting from the audience
New Delhi: Actor Raj Arjun, who was recently seen as DCP Rathi in Love Hostel, is receiving appreciation for his role.
Love Hostel also stars Bobby Deol, Vikrant Massey and Sanya Malhotra in lead roles.
Talking about the reactions she is getting, she shared, “I am getting mixed reactions but most of them are saying that you were true and honest to your character and we would have loved to see more.”
Sharing about his character graph as DCP Rathi, he further said, “Whatever the producers do for the film it is always with the intention of betterment of the film. Everyone strives to make a good film with their collaborative effort. Trying and creative calls are always taken. By producers. My job as an actor is to do my job with utmost sincerity. We go, we perform and come back and that’s it. If I I am a part of this film so I am also a part of this fraternity and I am fine with whatever call makers take for the betterment of the project. Anyway, in any case it has added a new layer of DCP Rathi to my career. And now I am moving forward with more positivity and enthusiasm.”
He further added, “You should not get so attached to your character that you end up living with him in the past. This is also one of my work which is close to me but now it has come to light so it is time to move on and start working on your next project and more. The focus is on the next character which I have to play with a blank mind.”
Talking about how he developed the desire to play different and complex lives, he revealed, “From childhood, I have subconsciously observed many different lives, spirits around me. Although at that time I Didn’t decide I wanted to be an actor. But we keep on facing life that affects us. This observation and understanding of the psychology of such people helps us to develop the character. For each character you need to One has to work on Manas first and it is different in every character. If all the roles are same as mine, then I get bored because I have lived it. Because I always wanted to play challenging roles and now challenging roles come my way. Why shouldn’t I accept them. I am lucky that people are not binding me and I am getting different roles.”
