After ‘Pathan’, Deepika to team up with Shah Rukh Khan in Aadli’s ‘Jawan’?
New Delhi: Actress Deepika Padukone, who has been working with Shah Rukh Khan on ‘Pathan’, is all set to team up with Bollywood superstar Aadli in the action-entertainer film ‘Jawan’. Deepika, who completed her Spanish schedule for ‘Pathan’ in March this year, is said to be starring in a brief appearance in the film. Apart from Shah Rukh Khan, the film also stars Nayanthara, Sanya Malhotra, Rana Tagupathi and Sunil Grover in the lead roles.
“Deepika has been in talks with Shah Rukh Khan and Aadli for some time and she is ready to play a small and important role in the film,” the Pingvilla statement said.
According to the entertainment portal, even if the actress agrees in principle, the documentation must be done. He is also said to have met actress King Khan and Aadli in Hyderabad during the filming of ‘Project K’. The trio discussed Deepika’s character and shooting dates. Meanwhile, official confirmation awaits from the actress or her crew.
It has been reported that Deepika will be playing the lead role in Ranbir Kapoor-Alia Bhatt starrer ‘Brahmastra’. The trailer was recently released and Netizens noticed the presence of the actress in one scene.
Deepika, who last starred in Shakun Bhadra’s ‘Kehriyan’, has produced films like ‘Intern’, ‘Project K’, ‘Circus’, ‘Pathan’ and ‘Fighter’.
