Amitabh Bachchan health update: Megastar makes first appearance after injury, greets sea of fans outside his home with ‘Namaste’ – WATCH
Mumbai: Megastar Amitabh Bachchan greeted his fans outside his home for the first time since he got injured on the sets of ‘Project K’. While meeting her fans on Sunday, she wore a “homemade sling” that she religiously wears every week. The actor took to his blog where he shared several pictures in a white kurta-pajama paired with a jacket. He also wore an ivory colored arm sling to support his arm.
He wrote on his blog: “And the work continues .. Sunday blessings of the well-wishers .. My love and gratitude .. They are still coming .. I homemade sling and ashes.”
Earlier in March, Amitabh was injured while shooting for ‘Project K’ in Hyderabad. The actor shared information about his health on his blog. He left for Mumbai after consulting a doctor at AIG Hospital in Hyderabad and undergoing a CT scan, where he is resting at his home.
The 80-year-old suffered a muscle tear in his right rib cage during an action sequence in the film. He wrote that the shooting of the film was postponed after this incident. ‘Project K’ is a science fiction film written and directed by Ashwini Dutt. Shot simultaneously in Telugu and Hindi, it stars Amitabh, Prabhas, Deepika Padukone and Disha Patani.
