Ankit Gupta, who plays Jahan in Colors’ Jununiyat, says, “I think Republic Day is a great launch pad for something that one wants to do for the country. It can be something as simple as organizing a child fit or cleanliness drive on this day. This day brings me back to my childhood. Takes away. We never consider this day as a holiday. We wait for flag hoisting and come home to watch patriotic movies. My greetings to all citizens of India, my dear, they are working to make the nation proud.
Neha Rana, who plays Elahi in Colors’ Jununiyat, says, “I am proud of our country’s constitution, which gives respect to being comprehensive. I am proud to be from a country blessed with great leaders. We have put a lot of thought into nation building.
“The most precious childhood memory I have on Republic Day is the hoisting of the flag in our community,” writes Samriti Shukla, who plays Savi Nityam in Colors’ Savi Ki Savari. Let’s do it. We learned the significance of this day only after a long time. On this Republic Day, I want to continue the tradition of spending time with my family and watching the parade. Happy Republic Day to all citizens of India!”
Fahman Khan, who plays Ravi in Colors’ ‘Dharam Padni’, writes, “Republic Day takes me back to school parades. It makes me so happy and nostalgic to see children rush to school to hoist the flag. Sing patriotic songs, watch patriotic films. The pride and excitement I see in children is about the future of our nation. Gives me a lot of hope. I am grateful to live in a country built by the hard work of legislators. We have ensured that every citizen feels a sense of belonging. Here we respect our motherland and hope to take the path to make our people proud.”
Aurra Bhatnagar, who plays the role of Durga in Colors’ ‘Durga Aur Charu’ shares, “On Republic Day, I look forward to going to school and participating in fun activities like singing patriotic songs and dancing. Everyone at school looks forward to it. Hoisting the flag on the way home, buying souvenirs, and so on. I love to read about the great leaders who shaped our nation.
