Anushka Sharma’s artwork has reminded social media of “Majnu Bhai”.
Thank you, Anushka Sharma, for making our working Sundays better. He has shared a video from a shooting set. And, it’s all fun. Here, Anushka and her team are painting the walls of the set. wait what? Yes this is true. And, she looks extremely excited. The clip opens with Anushka and the crew pouring color on their palates. Moments later, she is painting a wall. Finally, we get a glimpse of the end result. A heart, a smiling face and the word “pack up” written in red. Anushka, who is known for her out-of-the-box captions, did not disappoint us with her choice of words. She wrote, “When they let you paint on the set walls and you leave a “masterpiece” (the jury is out to debate this). Well done, Anushka. The “masterpiece” sounds amazing.
Singer Neeti Mohan has dropped a red heart at the bottom of the clip. Meanwhile, a fan referred to Anil Kapoor’s character Majnu Bhai in the film Welcome and wrote, “Jury be like: Wow…Wow…what a masterpiece. It’s even prettier than Majnu Bhai’s masterpiece.” [Wonderful work of art. This is better than Majnu Bhai’s masterpiece],
These days Anushka Sharma is busy with her upcoming project ‘Chakda Express’. The sports drama film is based on the life of former Indian captain Jhulan Goswami. And thus Anushka is preparing for her role. He has shared pictures from the practice session and wrote, “hold to hold”.
Chakda Express, directed by Prosit Roy, will trace Jhulan Goswami’s journey in the world of women’s cricket. At the time of the announcement, Anushka wrote, “This is a really special film as it is essentially a story of tremendous sacrifice. Chakda Express is inspired by the life and times of former Indian captain Jhulan Goswami and will be an eye-opener in the world of women’s cricket. At a time when Jhulan decided to become a cricketer and make her country proud on the global stage, it was very difficult for women to even think of playing the sport. The film is a dramatic retelling of the many examples that shaped her life and women’s cricket as well.”
Anushka further added, “As a woman, I am proud to hear Jhulan’s story and it is my honor to try to bring her life to the audience and cricket lovers alike. As a cricketing nation, we need our woman. The cricketers have to give their due. Jhulan’s story is indeed a downtrodden story in the history of cricket in India and the film is a celebration of his spirit.”
Anushka Sharma was last seen in Zero.
