Arjun Kanungo has released 3 new songs from his ‘Industry’ album – Check it out!
New Delhi: Taking his artistic talents to the next level, Arjun Kanungo today released the official Indian version of Waltby’s internationally acclaimed ‘Everything Sucks’, ‘Photo’ record holder Rashmeet Kaur and ‘Ishq Samunder’ record record King. His first studio album was ‘Industry’.
Kanungo’s ‘Industry’ album shows an attempt to move away from his mainstream pop signature style while embracing experimental and intense audio. With antimic pop-soul melodies, the album travels through various stories of romance, ambition and self-discovery, while at the same time drawing a worthy attention to Kanungo’s artistic and vocal style.
With most of the tracks written and recorded over the past two years, this album is very relevant to this moment in a culture that has always been marked by a global epidemic.
Arjun Kanungo says, “Profession is my personal explanation for my evolution as an artist. I believe my music is about subtle storytelling. I tried to unpack my personal parts that you do not see often. This may be the first time I am vulnerable and express myself honestly. He added, “Industry was born during the epidemic. I began to think and re-evaluate my journey in the music industry. I want to express myself with artistry that I have never had before. I wanted this album to be original and authentic but to exaggerate the vibe. This is the ‘real Arjun Kanungo’, I can’t wait to hear what the audience has to say.
Arjun has already filmed and released 4 tracks – Ilsam has already crossed 23 million views on YouTube, and half a million viewers a day, Pura Sapna and Wabas Aa Jaa, all three of which were directed and filmed by Dhruv Kanungo. This version was created for India with lyrics in Hindi written by Arjun and Dhruv Yogi, while featuring parts of the original song by Waltby. The artist announced the song along with Waltbay and posted a joint post on Instagram, now it’s one!
