Bajrang Dal activists disrupt the screening of Shah Rukh Khan-Deepika Padukone’s Pathan. 9 held at Faridabad
Faridabad: Nine Bajrang Dal activists were detained on Wednesday (January 25) for disrupting the screening of Shah Rukh Khan starrer ‘Pathan’. Protesters smashed theater glasses and tore up movie posters.
According to the police, the incident was reported around 3.30 pm after Bajrang Dal members gathered in Faridabad Sector 35 and marched towards Crown Interiors Mall where the film was screened.
They then entered the theater and raised slogans of boycotting the film. Many moviegoers left the theater and the police arrived at the scene.

A case was registered under relevant sections of the IPC, including trespass, on a complaint by the Innox Cinema manager.
“Nine people have been arrested while scanning the CCTV footage and other accused will be nabbed soon,” said police spokesperson Subhey Singh.
