BCCI reveals 3 prospective candidates for India’s captaincy
KL Rahul, Rishabh Pant and Jasprit Bumrah are set to go on a grooming course under new captain Rohit Sharma, the head of the selection committee, Chetan Sharma, explained while announcing the squad for the upcoming tour of Sri Lanka.
Former captains Virat Kohli and Rishabh Pant have been rested from T20s but will play the Test series. Explaining how these three youngsters could be future leaders for the nation, Chetan Sharma said, “We made KL the captain in South Africa.
