‘Best in the world…’, Virat Kohli’s epic reaction to Suryakumar Yadav’s century against New Zealand, see here
Former India skipper Virat Kohli was among the many fans who were in awe of Suryakumar Yadav, who scored his second T20I century in the 2nd T20I between India and New Zealand at Mount Maunganui. The right-handed batsman thrashed the Kiwi bowlers by scoring an unbeaten 111 off just 51 balls. Kohli, who is not part of the Hardik Pandya-led Team India for the New Zealand series, praised his partner’s innings, calling it a ‘video game inning’. Notably, Suryakumar Yadav came in to bat at No.3, which is Virat Kohli’s batting position in the Men in Blue lineup.
The experiment of opening the batting with Rishabh Pant did not go to plan as he was dismissed for 6 off 13 balls. However, the Mumbai Indians batsman toyed with the Kiwi bowling attack to change the scenario of the match.
