Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra starring Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and Amitabh Bachchan has been creating huge buzz on the internet ever since the filmmaker released the new teaser featuring the lead characters. Now, the film’s producer Karan Johar has announced a new addition to his team and it is none other than superstar Chiranjeevi. The legendary actor has lent his voice for the upcoming trailer of Brahmastra in the Telugu version. Karan shared a video on his Instagram handle, in which Ayan is also welcoming Chiranjeevi.
As the video continues, Chiranjeevi can be seen voicing the Telugu version of the trailer at a dubbing studio. At the end of the video, Ayaan comes to the studio and touches the veteran actor’s feet as a token of respect. Sharing the post, Karan Johar wrote, “Welcome to Team Brahmastra, Chiranjeevi Sir! Very grateful and honored to lend your voice to the Telugu version of the film. His wonderful presentation of our trailer in the Telugu version, on 15th June ! #Brahmastra”.

Ayan Mukerji also shared the video on his Instagram handle with a long note that read, “Chiranjeevi Garu and Brahmastra I have met Chiranjeevi Garu on just two occasions – once with Ranbir when we saw him in Telugu as Brahmastra. , and once we recorded his iconic voice a few days back – but the spirit with which he has left me will last forever. A mega star with magical energy – he I was so warm and so welcomed, and so positive about Brahmastra – I’ve had the privilege of meeting him on this trip. With the utmost respect (and enthusiasm)… I’m honored to share that Chiranjeevi Garu lending his voice to our film and our trailer in Telugu. With him in the dub studio, and hearing his voice on our trailer – will be one of my favorite memories on Brahmastra!”.

The trailer of Brahmastra will release on June 15 in five regional languages - Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada. Apart from Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and Amitabh Bachchan, the film also stars superstars Nagarjuna Akkineni and Mouni Roy in pivotal roles. Brahmastra – Part One: Shiva will release on 9 September 2022.
