New Delhi: A two-and-a-half-year-old boy from Bihar’s Nevada got a new lease of life on Thursday with the help of Bollywood actor Sonu Sood.
Sahamuki was born with four arms and legs. His parents, who work as day laborers in Nevada, went to the STO office a few days ago to ask for help with Samuki’s surgery.
Although their efforts did not yield immediate results, one viewer took a video of Samuki and uploaded it on social media.
After watching the Sonu Suite video, he sent his team to Nevada to contact Samuki’s parents. Due to his efforts, Samuki was taken to a private hospital in Surat for surgery.
Doctors are now successfully performing the surgery. Sonu Sood accepted the total cost.
Following the successful operation of the baby, Sonu Sood tweeted a photo of Samuki who can be seen resting in the hospital bed.
The actor said: “One of the toughest surgeries in the country has been successful.”
He also thanked the Kiran Hospital and doctors in Surat for the successful operation.
Sahumuki’s parents from Hemda village in the Warshaliganj block of Nevada district thanked Suth for giving their daughter a new lease of life.
