The red carpet appearance we all look forward to – Deepika Padukone, everyone. The actress’s Cannes appearance this year is extra special as she is on jury duty, which calls for special sartorial pics and, let’s say, the actress delivers. She made her first red carpet appearance wearing a black and gold sari, designed by Sabyasachi. She flawlessly tied her hair in a bun and accessorised it with a golden hairband. However, the highlight of her look should be the dramatic makeup – kohl-rimmed eyes, nude lips, perfect contoured cheeks. Simply put – perfection.

Earlier during the day, the actress wore a Sabyasachi outfit for the opening ceremony. She paired the printed shirt with emerald green pants.

At the opening ceremony of the 75th edition of the Cannes Film Festival, Deepika Padukone chose a piece from Louis Vuitton.

Regarding Deepika Padukone’s off-red carpet Cannes look, the actress has been swearing by Louis Vuitton in every way (no surprise there, as she’s the brand ambassador). She checked into the French Riviera dressed in a denim-on-denim look. An LV bag and some glasses on the side. Documenting the moments, the actress shared a video on Instagram, which she signed with the words: “From Cannes, Pyaar Se.”

Deepika Padukone has been a regular at Cannes for the past few years. For years, she was representing makeup giant L’Oréal at the film festival. Deepika has made it to the best dressed list at Cannes three times in the past and has worn designers like Prabal Gurung, Marchesa, Peter Dundas, Giambattista Valli and Ashi Studio.
