NEW DELHI: TV star Hirushikesh Pandey, who is best known for playing Inspector Sachin in the hit fictional crime series CID, has faced an unfortunate incident. He recently boarded an AC bus in Mumbai with his family for a local tour, left his car and looted money, cards and other important items.
Hrishikesh Pandey told Indianexpress.com, “It happened on June 5. We took a bus from Colaba to visit some places. Initially I did not want to join them. Since everyone in my family was here, I jumped at the idea. I left my car to board the public transport. It was a little crowded and I did not understand when someone took everything out.I went to the police station to lodge a complaint, but when will you get this back? However, since I had to go back to my hometown, I withheld my cards and applied for copies.
When asked to react to the memes (as he played a cop on the show) that spread the word on social media as soon as the news went viral, Hrishikesh Pandey said, “Yes, this is very paradoxical. I was in disguise to avoid the mob. No. I’m thankful they did not have the opportunity to use my cards to cause me further loss. ”
The actor has lodged a complaint with the Colaba Police Station and the Malad Police Station regarding the incident.
