New Delhi: Actor Daniel Radcliffe, who shot to big stardom by playing the titular role of Harry Potter in the film, has confirmed that he is expecting his first child with his long-term partner Erin Darke.
The 33-year-old star and Torquay, 38, are due to become parents later this year, reports BBC.com.
The actors, who reportedly met on the sets of ‘Kill Your Darlings’ in 2013, have been together for a decade.
Radcliffe played poet Allen Ginsberg in the film, and Dark played Gwendoline as a love interest.

Radcliffe rose to fame at the age of 12 when he played the bespectacled boy wizard in 2001’s ‘Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone’. More recently, he played the lead role in last year’s ‘Weird: The Al Yankovic Story’. .
Weird follows the life and career of comedian Al Yankovic, who rose to fame with his witty spoof versions of classic songs.
Radcliffe told Newsweek last year: “I want my kids — if and when they have them — I want them on movie sets.”
The Michigan-born Darke is best known for her role in the 2015 series Good Girls Revolt, and recently appeared in the Prime Video series ‘The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel’.
Radcliffe’s Harry Potter co-star Rupert Grint, who played Ronald Weasley in the films, has a three-year-old daughter, Wednesday, with actor Georgia Groome.
