Dhanush-starrer 'Maaran' to release on March 11 on OTT


CHENNAI: Director Kartik Naren’s much-awaited action entertainer “Maran”, starring Dhanush and Malavika Mohanan in lead roles, will release on Disney Plus Hotstar on March 11.

On Monday, fans and viewers took to Twitter to unveil the trailer of the film through a feature called ‘Twitter Unlocked’. The makers claim that this is the first Tamil film to adopt this feature.

Going away from the norm of celebrities releasing trailers, the team decided to make fans and viewers a celebrity and unveiled the trailer to them via ‘Twitter Unlocked’.

The trailer is now streaming on the Disney+ Hotstar YouTube channel as well.

Presented by Satya Jyothi Films TG Thiagarajan and produced by Senthil Thiagarajan and Arjun Thiagarajan, ‘Maran’ is directed by Karthik Naren and stars Dhanush and Malavika Mohanan in lead roles.

The film, which has music by GV Prakash Kumar, also stars Samuthirakani, Krishna Kumar, Master Mahendran, Jayaprakash and Adukalam Narayan.

The screenplay of the film is written by Kartik Naren along with renowned writers Suhas and Sharfu.
