Former Royal Challengers Bangalore star Chris Gayle reveals he wants to dance with Deepika Padukone in a song

Former West Indies cricket captain and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) batsman Chris Gayle has said that he would love to dance to a song with Deepika Padukone. Releasing his music video, ‘Oh Fatima’ with Arko, accompanied by friends, especially playback singer Shaan, the cricketer said that if he ever gets a chance to dance with a Bollywood actress, it would be Deepika.
Gayle said, ‘I have met him personally. “Deepika Padukone, a very nice lady. I would love to dance with Deepika Padukone in a song.
Asked how her music career took off, Gayle replied: “It all started during the pandemic when we were all locked up in our homes. A friend of mine said let’s do a song together. He came over to my house and we sang together.
“I was very impressed with it and the best thing was that Jamaican people accepted it. Then I recorded another song and eventually I set up my studio at my home and started collaborating with people in the music field At no point in my cricket career did I imagine that I would ever venture into singing.”

Gayle’s first song was titled ‘We Come Out To Party’ and later she collaborated with Mumbai-based rapper Emiway Bantai to release a music video titled ‘Jamaica to India’ in April 2021, followed by ‘Punjabi Daddy’.
Her latest title is ‘Oh Fatima’ with composer and singer-songwriter Arko. Talking about the song, Gayle said, “When I met Arko and he played the song, I immediately said I want to be in it and here we are together today at the launch of our song. The energy and vibe of the song Very catchy. It will stick in your head.
Last weekend, RCB batsman Virat Kohli broke Gayle’s record for most centuries in the Indian Premier League. Kohli scored his 7th IPL century against Gujarat Titans but failed to take his team to victory and reach the playoff stage of IPL 2023. Gayle is currently in Mumbai, working as a commentator with the Jio Cinema team for the IPL 2023 broadcast.
