Attention all Gilmore Girls fans!
One of the show’s staffers has revealed six years after the revival who is the baby daddy of Rory’s unborn child.
In Gilmore Girls: A Year In The Life, the 30-something Yale graduate is still struggling to find her feet when she drops a pregnancy bombshell to her mother, Lorelai.
The final episode of the Netflix revival ended on a cliffhanger when Rory utters: ‘Mom, I’m pregnant.’

In the Netflix revival, Rory Gilmore (pictured with Logan Huntzberger) revealed that she was pregnant, but the episode did not explicitly name the baby daddy, leaving many fans guessing.
A shocked Lorelai looks over at Rory, but no words are spoken before the screen cuts to black and the credits roll.
Now Valerie Campbell, who was the costume supervisor for A Year In The Life, has taken to TikTok to settle the debate among fans once and for all.
‘So let’s do the math. In winter, she (Rory) is sleeping with Paul – maybe, maybe not, I don’t know – she might have forgotten to do it, but she definitely forgot to break up with that guy,’ Valerie begins the video, which has almost one million views at the time of writing.
‘But she definitely wasn’t sleeping with him.’
She continues: ‘Spring, she sleeps with the Wookiee once. And if it was the Wookie, she would definitely be showing and we never gave her a pregnancy belly, that is very, very important.
‘We never gave her one, we were never instructed to give her one. It’s definitely not the Wookiee.
Valerie then turns her attention to Logan Huntzberger, who is one of Rory’s ex-boyfriends and it was revealed in the revival that they had rekindled their romance despite him being engaged.
‘Then the obvious choice is, you guessed it, Logan. [Gilmore Girls creator] Amy [Sherman-Palladino] herself said, “Why were people even questioning who the father is?”

‘It’s because it was supposed to be very, very, very, very, very, very obvious.’
The video sparked more than 1,500 comments and the topic still appears to be a sore spot among Gilmore Girls’ fans.
‘If it’s obvious why is Matt (Czuchry who plays Logan) saying Amy told him and he has to keep it a secret? Or is that just to drive us batty?’ one person wrote.
‘It was no obvious, and now I can die peacefully. This has haunted me for years,’ said another.
And while others knew that Logan was the father, others were unwilling to accept Valerie’s version of events.
‘But I want it to be Jess’s,’ a third Gilmore Girls fan wrote, referring to one of other Rory’s ex-boyfriends.
‘We know. We just don’t like any of the answers. Especially that one,’ someone else joked.
Most of the original cast did return for the series. But sadly Edward Herrmann (back center) did not after his 2014 death
The topic is obviously still a sore spot for Gilmore Girls fans who took to the TikTok’s comments section to weigh in.
A Year In The Life was released in 2016 as a four-episode limited series on Netflix.
It takes place almost a decade after the CW series ended in 2007.
Each episode happens during a season – winter, spring, summer and fall – and the series charts a year in the Gilmore Girls’ life.
Alexis Bledel returns as Rory who is in her 30s and works as a freelance journalist, but opportunities start to dry up and she appears to be more lost than ever.
Co-star Lauren Graham also reprized her role as Lorelai and much of the original cast did return for A Year In The Life.
Sadly Gilmore patriarch Richard doesn’t make an appearance after the actor who portrayed him Edward Herrmann died in 2014.
