The actor, who was recently seen in Mani Ratnam’s magnum opus “Ponniin Selvan: Part 1”, considers the director his mentor and was ready to accept any role – even as a horse – in the film as he didn’t want to. I lost the opportunity to work with a director known for many films like `Roja’, `Bombay’, `Guru’ and `Yuva’.
She shared her thoughts on “Ponniyin Selvan: Part 1” and her acting: “The name ‘Ponniyan Selvan’ has a huge identity with the diaspora Tamil people. Speaking to IMDb, the actor also said about his blockbuster film “Kaithi”: “Kaithi’ is definitely one of the most important films in my career. It came to me as a small idea, but the moment I heard it, I knew it was a big action film. To shape the main character, Dilli We did a lot of research, and since he’s become the savior of the Guardians, I think his look should be as simple and humble as possible.
