In a video posted on Instagram by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), Sharma and his opening partner Shubman Gill were seen walking with the bat in a practice session. In pictures shared by BCCI, all-rounder Kamlesh Nagarkoti is also seen training with Shardul Thakur and Jasprit Bumrah, indicating that he could have been included as a net bowler.
