IND vs SA, 3rd T20I Predicted Playing XI: Umran Malik to finally make his debut?
Rishabh Pant’s Team India suffered consecutive defeats against Temba Bavuma’s South African team in the five-match T20I series. In the first game, it was Rassi van der Dussen while in the next it was Heinrich Klaasen who stole the game from Team India. Pant was let down by poor bowling performances in both the games, so there is a possibility that we could see either Umran Malik or Arshdeep Singh making his India debut in the third T20I.

Avesh Khan is likely to make way for one of the budding actors. Bhuvneshwar Kumar bowls in the powerplay while Harshal Patel has the expertise to bowl in the death overs. India needs someone who can take wickets in the middle overs. Umran Malik, who played for SRH in IPL 2022, took 24 wickets in 14 matches while bowling after the powerplay overs. He could be India’s answer in the middle overs without a wicket.
On the other hand, Quinton de Kock, who missed the last game due to a swallow, is likely to make a comeback for the South African side in the third T20I. Heinrich Klaasen, who replaced de Kock, will not be a de drop after a brilliant innings in the last game. Reeza Hendrix may be dropped for playing de Kock in the third T20 International of the series.
