India vs Australia 3rd ODI Weather Report: Rain and thunderstorm predicted for Chennai clash
Looks like the rain has now followed Team India and Australia from Visakhapatnam to Chennai. The third and last ODI of the three-match series will be played on Wednesday (March 22) at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. It will be a hot and humid day for both the teams to play the series decider.
The series is currently tied at 1-1, with India winning the first ODI while Australia registered a massive 10-wicket win in the second game on Sunday (March 19). Although rain was expected to affect the Vizag match, but before the weather could say anything, Mitchell Starc and Co. battered the Indian team.
However, Chennai can expect some rain and even thundershowers and both the captains – Rohit Sharma and Steve Smith – will have to keep an eye on the weather as well. Though the day maximum temperature is expected to be around 33 degree Celsius but the actual feel will be around 43 degree Celsius. There is about a 40 percent chance of rain and a 24 percent chance of thunderstorms during the day.

However, the 22-yard pitch at Chepauk is expected to be more spin-friendly as compared to Mumbai and Vizag.
India have already played eight home games – three versus Sri Lanka, three versus New Zealand and three against Australia ending on Wednesday.
