India vs SA: Fans troll BCCI for leaking roof of Chinnaswamy Stadium, see

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) last week announced an Indian Premier League (IPL) media rights deal worth over Rs 48,000 crore. Despite this, cricket facilities in some parts of the country left much to be desired. The fifth and final T20 match between India and South Africa was washed out after just 3.3 overs but a video surfaced from the rooftop game at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium and the video has now gone viral.
BCCI President Sourav Ganguly had assured that the money would be used to improve the stadiums and facilities. Fans will be hoping that this will happen soon with the 50-day World Cup to be held in India.
When it rained on Sunday, fans waited in the stadium hoping for games to start. Unfortunately, the experience was not one to cherish for the fans as a water leak in the roof of the Chinnaswamy Stadium left them drenched.

Even more disappointing was the situation inside the stadium! The richest board in the world and the conditions their fans need to keep! When will @BCCI @kscaofficial1 improve the fan experience commensurate with the stature of the game?? pic.twitter.com/eacucPnwUp – Srinivas Rammohan (@srini_ramamohan) June 19, 2022
India and South Africa shared honors in the five-match T20I series, with only 3.3 overs of play possible after the last game was canceled due to rain here on Sunday. Meanwhile, South Africa’s stand-in captain Keshav Maharaj expressed disappointment over the fifth T20I against India being called off due to rain.
“Very disappointed that we didn’t get a full game to end an exciting tour. We started very well, sorry we couldn’t see the results. We can’t control the weather. We tried a few combinations. Still A work in progress for Australia. You can still see the changes,” said Maharaj after the match was cancelled.
“I am sure future series against India will be interesting like this. We were disappointed with our performance in the last two matches. We built our confidence from the previous tours and at the same time we didn’t want to take anything lightly,” he said.
