Jacqueline Fernandez’s ‘Tell It Like A Woman’ has been nominated for an Oscar against ‘RRR’.
New Delhi: Actress Jacqueline Fernandez on Wednesday penned a heartfelt note after her song “Applause” from her film “Tell It Like a Woman” was recently nominated for an Oscar in the “Best Original Song” category. Taking to Instagram, the ‘Kig’ actor shared a post in which he was “beyond words, congrats to @dianewarren @sofiacarson on her Oscar nomination for ‘Applause’ and making us all proud! It’s an honor to be associated with such esteemed artists in the beautiful film “Say It Like My Girl.” ! The song is competing against “Natu Nadu” by RRR, “Hold My Hand” from “Top Gun: Maverick”, “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever,” and “This Is Life.” “Everything, everywhere at once”.T
The actor congratulated the ‘RRR’ team for their Oscar nominations. “And big congrats to RRR team for being nominated for the country!!! My best wishes and love to the entire team and all the nominees,” the caption added.

This year the Oscars will be held on March 13th and while the wait is still long, the nominations have certainly raised the spirits of the crew and cast of the above mentioned films. Everyone expects to see an Indian film bagging a prestigious award.
Meanwhile, Jacqueline recently starred in director Rohit Shetty’s comedy “Circus” alongside Ranveer Singh, Pooja Hegde and Varun Sharma. The film did not impress fans at the box office.
