NEW DELHI: Renowned filmmaker Karan Johar, who recently faced criticism from Netizens over reports of his 50th birthday party being a Govt-19 hotspot, has finally settled the rumors. On May 25, Karan hosted the 50th birthday party at Yash Raj Studios in Mumbai. A-listers like Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan, Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh, Salman Khan, Aamir Khan, Kajol and Rani Mukherjee were seen at his party.
A few days after the party, some stars from the city of Tinsil, who had accidentally attended Bash, tested positive for Govt-19. It stars actors Katrina Kaif and Shah Rukh Khan.
Many media reports say that Karan Johar’s star-studded birthday party has spread like wildfire. Addressing the claims, Karan said that his party was not only held in the week of his birthday. Events and weddings also happen, so he pointed out why the blame falls on her.
