Karva Saud Date 2022: Karva Saud is just around the corner and preparations are in full swing in many Hindu families. One of the most important festivals celebrated by married women, especially in the northern part of the country, the occasion sees women fasting throughout the day to pray for their husband’s long life and marital happiness. While the festival will be celebrated in the second week of October this year, like many other festivals in 2022, there is confusion over the timing and date. We can find out.

Karva Saud 2022: When to fast this year

Fasting in Karva South is done on the fourth day of the Hindu month of Karthik Krishna Paksha Chaturthi. Married women fast from sunrise and end the fast by looking at the moon to seek the blessings of Goddess Parvati for the long life of their husbands and a happy married life. This year Garva Saud will be observed on October 13, when women are required to fast. Karva Mata is worshiped on this day by married women for the long life of their husbands.

Married women dress up in their best clothes and dress up like brides.
