Lagaan turns 21: Aamir Khan celebrates with the group at his home 'Marina'


New Delhi: Aamir Khan starrer ‘Lagaan’ is set to complete 21 years on Wednesday, June 15. To commemorate it, the star is ready to join the crew in her shoot. House, ‘Marina’ today.

‘Lagaan’ is one of the most successful films of our time and it is said to be one of the most evergreen films that can be enjoyed by all ages. ‘Lagaan’ became the second film in Indian history to be nominated for an Oscar for Best Foreign Language Film, apart from Mother India. 21 years after the release of the film, the popularity of the film remains the same.

And to celebrate the film’s tradition, all of the star actors are set to come together today at Aamir Khan’s home. Last year, the entire team came together to celebrate the success of the mega blockbuster film. Not even an epidemic could stop the actors from announcing the success of the film.

Meanwhile, Aamir Khan is all set to release ‘Lal Singh Satta’ on August 11, 2022. The film is a Hindi remake of the 1994 Hollywood film ‘Forest Gump’. Directed by Advait Chandan, the film stars Kareena Kapoor Khan and Mona Singh in the lead roles. The film marks the Bollywood debut of Telugu actor Naga Chaitanya.

A few days ago, Aamir released the trailer of the film, which immersed the audience in the joy of emotions. The nearly 3 minute long trailer gave a glimpse into the fascinating and innocent world of Lal Singh Satta, the protagonist of the film. His slow approach and childish optimism are the driving force of the film.
