Lock Upp Day 5 written updates: Munawar Faruqui roasts Shivam Sharma for comparing himself to Iron Man, Thanos

New Delhi: The episode begins with the housemates discussing their journey. Comedian Munawwar Farooqui while talking about his arrest said that he never committed the crime on which he was charged. He tells Nisha Rawal that his energy was comparatively low when he took the stage after coming out of jail. Fashion designer and transgender Saisha Shinde talks to Munawwar and Poonam Pandey about her experience.

Poonam Pandey discusses that people have always seen her as a troublemaker. She further says that after 10 years the same world will talk about how it started.

Shivam made a heart-shaped paper art for Sara with her name written on the inside. Sara reacts on this after waking up.

Shivam Sharma bursts into tears and Karanvir tells Bohra that Sana Khan doesn’t believe his feelings for him. He says that Sana told him that he is making a ‘love drama’ as the makers have asked him to do.

Sana tells Nisha that she cannot believe someone she has just met and tells her that he loves her. She tries to talk to him.

Shivam leaves no chance to impress Sara by reading his poetry and putting effort into it. It will be interesting to see how their relationship pans out in the coming episodes.

Munavvar and Karanveer have fun when Shivam falls in love with Sana.

Shivam and Munavvar clash with each other when the comedian ruthlessly trolls the former for comparing himself to Marvel characters Iron Man and Thanos. Other celebrity contestants of the show were also seen laughing at Munavvar’s comments. While Munavvar called his reaction a ‘mic-drop’ moment, Shivam was seen furious and declaring that he would destroy the comedian.

Karanvir discusses popular characters from the Marvel Cinematic Universe with his fellow contestants. Shivam joins the conversation and compares himself to Marvel characters. Shivam said, “Remembered from Thanos. This year I am Thanos of Lock Up Season 1 and I am also Iron Man.” , His response invited a scathing reply from Munawar, who joked, “Kya baat hai both hi die (how amazing, both die), referring to the death of characters in Avengers: Endgame.

Munavvar discusses with Poonam and Siddharth that he does not even deserve his hatred.

Contestants participate in a ‘bluff’ game and ‘right block’ are disqualified. The ‘Left Block’ wins and is asked to name a housewife whose wish will be fulfilled.

‘Lock Up’ has been live-streamed on digital platforms MX Player and ALTBalaji. Comedian Munavvar Farooqui, model Poonam Pandey, actors Nisha Rawal, Sara Khan, Karanvir Bohra, Payal Rohatgi, Shivam Sharma, Siddharth Sharma, political analyst Tehseen Poonawalla, fashion designer Saisha Shinde, self-styled godman Swami Chakrapani, social media influencer Anjali Arora, and wrestler Babita Phogat is a contestant on the controversial show among others.
