Munawar Farooqi’s latest social media post referring to Justin Bieber seems to have backtracked as many criticized the stand-up comedian as insensitive. Justin Bieber has revealed that he has a rare disorder that causes the superstar actor to lose half his face. Justin Bieber says the reason for postponing his tour was a rare disorder that left half of the superstar actor paralyzed in the face. In one of his recent posts, while trying to explore the political situation in India, Munawar posted on social media, “Dear Justin Bieber, I can fully understand. Even in India the right is not working properly (sic).”
However, this did not go down well with Netizens because many scolded Munawar as insensitive. One user asked, “What’s so funny about this, do you think it’s fun to make fun of someone’s illness?”. Another user wrote, “Making fun of someone’s illness shows how ‘jaheel’ you are … it’s not fun for you.” This post saw people arguing about the left and right and Netizens getting involved in political arguments.
Multi Grammy Award winner Bieber Ramsey Hunt has been diagnosed with the disease, he said in a video posted on Instagram last week. The syndrome causes facial paralysis and affects the nerves in the face by the eruption of singles. Bieber’s post comes after he canceled his shows in Toronto and Washington, D.C.
“For those who are frustrated that I’m canceling the next show, I’m only physically, obviously can not do them,” he said. The singer added, “My body tells me I have to be slow. I hope you understand.” Bieber said he was not sure how long it would take for him to recover. But he appeared to be positive in his full recovery through rest and treatment. “I’ll use this time to relax, unwind and one hundred percent back so I can do what I was born to do,” he said. In March, Bieber’s wife, Hailey Bieber, was admitted to hospital with a brain haemorrhage.
