Naagin 6 actress Adah Khan on OTT debut said, turned down offers because of bold content!
New Delhi: Actress Adah Khan, who is associated with Ekta Kapoor’s Balaji Telefilms Naagin – a show that made her a household name – opens up on why she hasn’t taken to the OTT space for more digital content.
In an interview with Hindustan Times, Adah Khan said, “I always wanted to do something on the webspace that you can sit and watch with your family. I am a little skeptical about bold scenes and bold content. I am not ready for it. Because that’s what was mainly happening on webspaces a while back.”
Adah Khan recently made her digital debut with a family comedy series titled Shubh Mangal Mein Dangal.
He said that even though he got several OTT offers, he had to turn them down because of its explicit content. “I had to turn them all down because I wasn’t comfortable with this kind of material,” she said.
However, no, he feels that things have now changed for the better and it no longer affects the reputation of the platform.
“This is no longer the case and because of this, I am comfortable doing more OTT work. Initially I could not believe it at all. It’s not shift for me. I’m still doing TV. I love my TV audience. But yes the only thing with TV is that we keep doing the same role for years. On OTT, shows are episodic and it is exciting because as an actor I am doing show after show with that character. It has been a different experience for me which has been enjoyable,” she quipped.
Adah Khan will be seen in Naagin 6 along with Tejashwi Prakash and Mahek Chahal.
