Jugjug Jio, the latest family drama-comedy from Dharma Productions, is making all the right noises. The trailer and songs of the film have already become extremely popular on the internet and among fans. The lead actors of the film are leaving no stone unturned to promote the film. In this, Anil Kapoor, Varun Dhawan, Kiara Advani and Neetu Kapoor share updates about the same on their social media handles. Now, actress Neetu Kapoor has shared a behind the scenes video from the shoot of the dance number, The Punjabban Song. The post shared moments from the shooting of the peppy track as well as funny anecdotes with the cast of the film.
The video begins with Varun Dhawan talking about the banger track with Neetu Kapoor saying, “It’s the right kind of song you want to dance to.” Kiara Advani also says, “It’s a colourful, lively song.”
While showing us a glimpse of the shoot, Neetu Kapoor also told us about an instance where the choreographer asked the team to stop and watch it take a step. “I was so excited when he said that,” recounts choreographer Bosco Martis. Confirming the same, actor Maniesh Paul said, “Neetu ji is brilliant in this song.”
Sharing the note, Neetu Kapoor said, “The hook step that has rocked the internet – there was a rage behind the scenes too! Watch all the fun we had with this crazy family during The Punjabban Song”
A few days back, Neetu Kapoor was also seen grooving to a fun-filled song with her co-judges on the sets of the reality show Dance Deewane Juniors. In the video, she is seen dancing with choreographer Marzi Pestonji, actress Nora Fatehi and veteran icon Neetu Kapoor. Actress Shilpa Shetty is also joining him. In the caption, she said, “My other on-screen family members Nora Fatehi and Marzi Pestonji got to step the hook and we are addicted. And many thanks to Shilpa Shetty for joining in and making it more fun.”
Earlier, Neetu Kapoor had also shared some pictures from the shooting of the song. In the caption, he said, “All smiles with these family members.”
Neetu Kapoor also released her first look poster on Instagram and described her character as “the heart and soul of this family”.
Jagjag Jio 2020 marks Neetu Kapoor’s first full-fledged role in a film after the death of her husband Rishi Kapoor.
