New poster of Brahmastra: Meet Mouni Roy as “Junoon – The Queen of Darkness”

New Delhi: Ahead of the Brahmastra trailer, Ayan Mukerji has shared the first-look poster of Mouni Roy. Mouni, starring Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt in lead roles, will play the role of Junoon – the queen of darkness in the film. The poster shows Mouni in red eyes and a vicious look. Sharing the poster, Brahmastra director Ayan Mukerji wrote, “Many people, I think, are going to exit Brahmastra, talking about Mouni’s performance as Junoon. Maun – who is God Have a deep faith and a deep dedication to Shiva – have always understood Brahmastra very naturally – and with that understanding, he really killed it with his part in our film! My first meeting with him, I saw him as one in Brahmastra. She finally shot with us from our first day till our last schedule, and indeed, the film has a surprise package!”.
Introducing the character of Mouni Roy, Ayan Mukerji wrote in Hindi, “Karle sabko vash main apne, and here ki rani. Achieving Brahmastra, ye passion nai thani hai” (take Brahmastra). Check out the post below:

Meanwhile, on Monday, Ayan Mukerji announced Chiranjeevi’s joining Brahmastra. The superstar has lent his voice in the Telugu version of the trailer. Welcoming Chiranjeevi, he shared a video on his Instagram handle along with a long note. He wrote, “Chiranjeevi Garu and Brahmastra I have only met Chiranjeevi Garu on two occasions – once with Ranbir when we asked him to lend his voice for Brahmastra in Telugu, and once with his iconic voice a few days back. Recorded – but the feeling he has left me, will last forever. A mega star with magical energy – he made me so warm and so welcoming, and so positive about Brahmastra – I had the privilege of meeting him on this journey Huge respect (and excitement)… I am honored to share that Chiranjeevi Garu is lending his voice to our film and our trailer in Telugu. To be with him in the dub studio, and our trailer But to hear his voice – would be one of my favorite memories on Brahmastra!”.
Meanwhile, the trailer of the much-awaited film Brahmastra will release tomorrow (June 15). Produced by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions, the film will hit the theaters on September 9, 2022.
