Despite the current bearish market for the cryptocurrency, a new bitcoin miner has begun work at a 6 MW solar powered facility in western Colorado. The mining operations of Aspen Creek Digital Corporation (ACDC), which was established in January this year, are housed within a 10-MW solar farm. According to a statement provided to CoinDesk, the company intends to begin by mining bitcoin in its data center and eventually provide computing services to other companies.
The S19 bitcoin mining rig will be operated by the Colorado Data Center, which will also have 75,000 square feet of R&D.
