Olivia Morris aka RRR’s Jenny reacts to country Oscar nomination, calls it ‘her favorite line’
New Delhi: Actress Olivia Morris, who played Jr NTR’s love interest in SS Rajamouli’s “RRR”, is in a celebratory mood as her song “Natu Nadu” has bagged an Oscar 2023 nomination in the Best Original Song category. This year’s nominations were announced on Tuesday, and shortly after, Olivia took to Instagram to share her excitement over the country’s Oscar nod. Removing her still from the film, she wrote, “Me right now. Country Country Line. My favorite thing about working on RRR is that it’s only possible because of the incredible @ssrajamouli and #mmkeeravaani.
Olivia also responded to Country’s Golden Globe win. It won a Golden Globe Award for Best Original Song. The song also won the Critics’ Choice Award in the same category. He added, “It’s a huge and wonderful thing for Nadu Nadu to be nominated for an Oscar for Best Original Song and win at the Golden Globes. So thankful to be a part of this epic film.”

Music composer M.M. Composed by Keeravani and penned by Kala Bhairava and Rahul Sipliganj, the energetic song is picturized on Jr. NTR and Ram Charan. It also featured Olivia shaking hands with Telugu superstars. The song was released as `Nacho Nacho’ in Hindi, `Natu Koothu’ in Tamil, `Halli Nadu’ in Kannada and `Karinthol’ in Malayalam. Its Hindi version is sung by Rahul Sipliganj and Vishal Mishra.
The song attracts people with its happy vibe and frenzied dance hook. Also, the country’s culture is reflected in the lyrics that evoke a sense of food and the nation’s flora and fauna in every line. The hook step performed by Rama Rao and Charan went viral on social media and the duo often recreated the viral part of the dance in the promotions of the film RRR. `RRR’ hits the big screen on March 25, 2022.
