PAK vs ENG Dream11 Team Prediction, Match Preview, Fantasy Cricket Hints: Captain, Probable Playing 11s, Team News; Injury updates for today’s Pakistan vs England 2nd T20I match in Karachi, 8 pm, 22 September
Babar Azam’s Pakistan will take on Moeen-Ali-led England in the second match of the seven-match T20I series at the National Stadium in Karachi on Thursday (September 22). The hosts are already 1-0 down in the series after losing the first match by six wickets on Tuesday (21 September). The seven-match series is ready for both the sides for next month’s T20 World Cup 2022.
England opener Alex Hales felt he was making his England debut again when he returned from a 3 1/2-year exile and anchored them to a victory over Pakistan in the first Twenty20 of the series. Hales returned to England’s colors for the first time on Tuesday as his second failed test for recreational drugs forced him out of the 2019 Cricket World Cup.
He scored 53 runs in 40 balls as England chased down the target of 159 with four balls to spare. “After three years there was always the nerve and the pressure coming back. Three years felt like forever,” Hales said.
“It felt like a start again. Coming back with a half-century and contributing to a winning team feels like a dream come true.”
Hales joined England’s plans for the T20 World Cup 2022 in Australia next month after Jonny Bairstow was badly injured while playing golf and was ruled out of the mega event. Hales struggled to get going in the first six overs of the batting powerplay, but the 20s blossomed after being dropped twice as he scored his fifty off 39 balls and reached a fine-leg boundary against pacer Haris Rauf.
Hales and Harry Brooke dominated the Pakistan pacers at the end of the run chase with some fluent boundaries.
