Hosts Pakistan will take on West Indies in the second match of the three-match ODI series in Multan on Friday (June 10). Chasing a target of 306 runs, Babar Azam’s team won the first ODI by five wickets on Wednesday thanks to a brilliant century by their captain.
Pakistan captain Babar Azam became the first batsman to score three consecutive ODI hundreds as he led his team to a five-wicket victory. The Pakistan captain shared a 103-run stand with Imam-ul-Haq (65) as the hosts chased down a target of 306 runs in Multan to take a 1-0 lead in the three-match series against West Indies.
Chasing a lofty target of 306 runs, Pakistan had a poor start and lost their opener Fakhar Zaman with 26 runs. Imam-ul-Haq tried to open the innings with captain Babar Azam as he smashed West Indies bowlers around the field. Imam-ul-Haq fell on a brilliant delivery from Aqeel Hossein after scoring 65 runs.
