Parineeti Chopra feels a new phase of her career began after The Girl On The Train

New Delhi: Versatile actress Parineeti Chopra has earned praise for her impeccable performance in the taut thriller The Girl on the Train (TGOTT), the official remake of the English film starring Emily Blunt.

Pari’s performance was compared to that of Emily and she was praised for doing an act that even Emily would be proud of if she saw the Hindi remake.

On the first anniversary of the film, Parineeti reveals how TGOTT was a gamechanger for her career!

Pari says, “Few characters have the ability to penetrate deep into your consciousness and Meera is that woman for me. The Girl on the Train was an exciting and emotionally exhausting film for me and it taught me a lot. There was so much to learn and learn that I think a new phase of my career started after this. It doesn’t seem like a year has passed and it’s amazing that the whole team still gets so much love and appreciation for the film has been.”

The actress further added, “Meera will always live in me because to play her role, I had to relive the darkest moments of my life. By the end of the film I was emotionally broken but it was worth it. Me. I am grateful to the makers and Ribhu for giving me this role, which not only evolved me as an artist but also changed me as a person. Parineeti will soon be seen in Sandeep Vanga Reddy’s Animal opposite Ranbir Kapoor and Sooraj Barjatya in which she will be sharing screen space with Amitabh Bachchan, Anupam Kher and Boman Irani.
