Pathan: People create ruckus outside a Mumbai cinema, holding flags and chanting ‘Jai Shri Ram’

New Delhi: Miscreants created ruckus outside the theater where Shah Rukh Khan starrer ‘Pathan’ was screened on Sunday. While unable to enter the theater on Mumbai’s Mira Road due to security reasons, they vandalized posters outside and created a stir.
Carrying saffron flags, they are said to have chanted ‘Jai Shriram’.
Meanwhile, the film is ruling the box office.
It’s been 5 days since ‘Pathan’ hit the theaters and so far the film has collected around Rs 429 Crores (Worldwide).
Film trade analyst Taran Adarsh said that the film collected Rs 265 crore domestically and Rs 164 crore from overseas.
Day 5 ended around Rs 60-62 crore (early trends).
‘Pathan’ has been a huge hit with the audience and SRK’s global fan base is the actor’s first release in four years. The film entered the Rs 100 crore club on its first day.
Along with its opening weekend record, it also set two new records – worldwide Rs. Fastest Hindi film to cross the 300 crore barrier and second, first Hindi film to collect over 300 crores in its opening weekend.
