Paul McCartney features footage of Johnny Depp during the Glastonbury set
New Delhi: Singer Paul McCartney played a clip of Hollywood star Johnny Depp in an old music video as part of his headliner at the Glastonbury Festival on Saturday.
Depp was featured in the original video for McCartney’s song ‘My Valentine’ and was seen with actress Natalie Portman on a clip shown on the big screens around the stage, while McCartney sang on the piano, according to ‘Deadline’.
The musician used the same scenes on his recent US tour, which coincided with the High Court lawsuit against Depp’s ex-wife, Amber Herd.
According to the deadline, the actor’s appearance on screen in Glastenbury drew comments on social media among the audience of the concert.
McCartney’s appearance on Saturday night, a day after Billie Eilish was young, became the unprecedented senior leader at the Glastonbury ceremony.
When Dave Kroll and Bruce Springsteen teamed up with him on stage, he was thrilled to be reunited with his former Beatles band John Lennon through technology, as he sang ‘I Got a Feeling’ with McCartney.
