Priyanka Chopra opens up about how people want to affect her career, says ‘But that doesn’t stop me…’
New Delhi: Global icon Priyanka Chopra is always in the news, no matter what! While she was on a trip to India, the actress appeared on ‘The Ranveer Show’ and opened up about how people want to influence her life because she is good. “I have people who want to put my career in jeopardy, get out of my job, and make sure I’m not acting because I’m good at what I’ve been doing. ”
However, Priyanka said that these things did not deter her. And continued, “But that didn’t stop me. I don’t sit and wait and play the harp, I cry one night when an opportunity is taken away from me, but I don’t sit on s**t. You need to turn off the sound. Focus on one person who believes in you. Focus on the light, the inspiration you can find and that’s the hardest thing to do because you’re trapped by baggage and people holding you down,” he added.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Priyanka will be seen in international projects like ‘It’s All Coming Back to Me’ and ‘Citadel’.
Produced by Russo Brothers, “Citadel” will hit OTT on Prime Video. The upcoming sci-fi drama series is directed by Patrick Morgan and stars Richard Madden opposite Priyanka. In Bollywood, Farhan Akhtar’s ‘Jee Le Zara’, which marks his return to the director’s chair after ‘Don 2’, stars Alia Bhatt and Katrina Kaif. ‘Jee Le Zara’ is said to be hitting the screens soon and is all set for a summer 2023 release.
