New Delhi: ‘Rk / Rkay’ tells the story of an aspiring director (RK) who has just finished shooting for his new film, but things do not look very bright on the edit table.
Fortunately, upon receiving a confusing phone call from the editing room, the film’s protagonist jumps out of the screen and breaks out of control of the film’s plot. Mahboob is out of the picture – RK and his team have to find him and send him back to the movie.
Interestingly, just a month before the release of Rajat Kapoor’s ‘Rk / Rkay’, the comedy has already been screened and acclaimed at several international festivals, including the Shanghai International Film Festival, the River to River Festival, the Fuchsion International Fantastic Film Festival, and Austin. Film Festival and Pune International Film Festival.
