New Delhi: South Indian actor Rana Takupathi has shared the ‘First Four Minutes’ video clip of his highly anticipated film ‘Virata Parvam’ with his fans and loved ones. The film is set to release in theaters on June 17.

The four-minute video clip introduces the character of Sai Pallavi. Titled ‘Birth of Vanilla’, the clip gives a glimpse into the birth of the character of Sai Pallavi, who was born amidst devastating storms and shootings. Her name is Vanilla.
However, the last scene of the video where a female Naxalite girl starring actress Niveda Pethuraju is shot while holding a vanilla in her hands is a very captivating scene.
‘Virata Parvam’, directed by Venu Udukula, takes us back to the 1990s of the Naxalite movement in Telangana. The film tells a love story in the background of this movement. Rana Takupathi plays the role of Comrade Ravanna, whose romantic interest in secretly admiring the writings of Sai Pallavi’s vanilla Naxalite activist Ravanna.
Priyamani, Nandita Das, Naveen Chandra, Zarina Wahab, Eswari Rao and Sai Chand have been cast in the lead roles in ‘Virata Parvam’ produced by Sudhakar Cherukuri.
Rana Takupathy last starred in ‘Bhimla Naik’ while her co-star Sai Pallavi announced her upcoming film ‘Karki’ last month, which follows the story of a woman fighting for justice.
