Ranbir thought he needed ‘Angidi Kabab’ but now ‘Tal Chawl’ is happy with Alia
New Delhi: Bollywood star Ranbir Kapoor on Friday said that he has tied the knot with Alia Bhatt for a memorable one in 2022 and now two back-to-back films are lined up for release.
At a press conference here, two of Kapoor’s films “Samshera” and “Brahmastra: Part One Siva” were asked to be wedding gifts for his fans.
“This is a very big year for me. It was a great year for me, I got married and it was a beautiful thing that happened in my life,” Kapoor told reporters.
The 39-year-old actor later mentioned the dialogue of his “Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani” in 2013.
“I would say in my films, shaadi (marriage) is like tal chawl for bachas sal (50 years old).
“But, after the experiences I have had in life, I can say that tal-chawal is the best. My life with Alia is the best. I have tadka, pickles, onions, everything in my life. So I could not have asked. For a better life partner,” Kapoor said.
In April this year, the Bollywood star married 29-year-old Butt at an intimate wedding.
The actor said that Butt had seen the teaser of the film “Shamshara” but had not seen the trailer of the film yet as he was in London.
Butt is currently filming his first Hollywood movie, “Heart of Stone”, starring Cal Gadot. The spy film is directed by Tom Harper.
The latest release of 2018 is “Sanju” Kapoor, who assured the fans that he will be starring in more films now.
“I have a lot of work to do now, at first I worked for myself, now I want to build my family and work for my family,” the actor said.
Also starring Sanjay Dutt and Vani Kapoor, “Shamshera” is directed by Karan Malhotra and backed by Yash Raj Films.
The film will be released in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu on IMAX on July 22.
