Ranveer-Deepika have bought their first home together for Rs 119 crore, ‘He loves playing homemaker’, says the actor!
New Delhi: Bollywood couple Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone have reportedly bought their first house in Mumbai after their marriage. According to reports, the silk property is worth Rs 119 crore and now they are close to none other than Badshah Shahrukh Khan and Bhaijaan Salman Khan.
According to the report, the largest palace space has a total of 11,266 square feet of carpet and 1,300 square feet of exclusive terrace. Ranveer Singh graced the cover of Singapore’s Esquire magazine this month, becoming the first Indian to do so. In his exclusive interview with the magazine, Ranveer opened up about his childhood, his big Bollywood dream and life with wife Deepika Padukone.
‘What is he waiting to celebrate in life?’ To the question, the actor quipped, “Deepika and I bought our first house together, so we’re building our house! I moved into her place after marriage, so it’s been about four years now. But this is our first house together. Because she’s very passionate about everything she does. She is busy, I am busy, she is very homely. She is very carelu [the Hindi word for homebody]. We don’t go out much and prefer to spend time with each other at home.
So, this house we got is two hours outside the city; It’s quiet, it’s secluded, and it’s really the perfect place to spend our quality time. She puts her heart into decorating it and she takes so much house pride, I love seeing that child-like enthusiasm in her and encourage her to do more and more. He is a closed interior decorator with a lot of fluid creativity. I tease her that she looks like a little girl in a doll house. She likes to play homemaker, which I love so much. So, this time, I want to spend quality time with my wife at home.”
