Rapta 5 years old: Krithi Sanon murmurs the title track, fans remember the late actor Sushant
New Delhi: We all know that Kriti Sanon is a talented person, but we have no idea that she can sing. With a great actress, even a great singer.
On the special occasion, the ‘Housefull 4’ actress took to social media and released a video of herself singing the title song of the movie ‘Rapta’, which has completed 5 years since its release. Kriti thanks the crew of the film and shows his gratitude to Dino and the late Sushant Singh Rajput on the record. He wrote, “It’s special in so many ways..It’s a film full of memories..a journey close to my heart..and glad I did this with both of you: Sushant and Dino # 5 yearsAbrafta. Sorry PS song, emotions are pure !.”
As soon as Kriti dropped the record, her fans took her to the comment section and started praising the actress for her singing talent. Some of them were emotional and paid tributes to the late actor Sushant Singh Rajput. One fan wrote “Sushan” and another commented, “Treat my ears.”
A third social media user wrote, “RAABTA is absolutely special.”
For the uninitiated, rumors were circulating that Sushant and Krithi were dating during the filming of ‘Rapta’. However, none of them confirmed the reports and always maintained that they were good friends. In fact, Kriti was heartbroken after the sudden demise of Sushant Singh Rajput in 2020. In his farewell note to the late actor, he said, “I know your brilliant mind is your best friend and your worst enemy. Part of my heart is gone with you, part of you will always be alive. I will never stop praying for you (sic.).”
At work, Kriti holds a list of the biggest and most diverse films, including Ganapathi, Adipurush, Pedia, Shehzad and Anurag Kashyap’s unannounced sequel.
