Rest in Peace Warney: Ranveer Singh, Randeep Hooda, Shibani Dandekar condole Shane Warne’s demise
Mumbai: The sudden demise of legendary Australian spinner Shane Warne on Friday left everyone in shock. He was 52 years old. According to Fox Cricket’s report, Warne died of a heart attack.
“Shane was found unresponsive in his villa and, despite the best efforts of medical staff, could not be revived,” said a statement on the Fox website.
Several celebrities from the entertainment industry expressed their grief and sorrow on social media.
Actor Ranveer Singh on Instagram posted a monochrome picture of Warne with a broken heart emoticon in the caption. Actor Vikrant Massey shared Warne’s picture on his Instagram handle and wrote, “You take with you a piece of every 90s kid legend. RIP.”
Filmmaker Ashok Pandit offered his condolences with a happy picture of the late icon. He wrote, “Sad to learn about the passing of Australian spinner Shane Warne, who succumbed to a heart attack in Thailand. This is a great loss to the cricketing world. Heartfelt condolences. #RIP #ShaneWarne.
