Rishabh Pant was in for a pleasant surprise when some guests turned up at his house on Saturday, March 25. Former Indian cricketers Suresh Raina, Harbhajan Singh and Sreesanth took time out from their schedules to meet Pant, who is currently recovering from a gruesome injury. Car accident in December 2022. The cricketers posed for the cameras after their meeting and Raina then posted a cheerful picture on his social media. He wrote: “Brotherhood is everything..Family is where our heart is..Wishing our brother @rishabhpant the very best and a very speedy recovery…#family #life #brotherhood #time #trust Keep it up bro..we are always with you.” ..you will fly high like a phoenix.”

In the photo, Pant’s right knee is seen with a bandage as it will still take some time for himself to fully recover. The 25-year-old cricketer also underwent an operation in Mumbai in January. Since then he is giving it complete rest. Pant has also started his physiotherapy for the same and posts videos on Instagram of his various sessions. In the evening, as he once posted, Pant likes to take a slow walk, perhaps in the garden area or on the terrace. Pant recently posted about his walking sessions inside the swimming pool under the supervision of his physio.
Pant spends his days playing some of his favorite board games like carrom board or chess.
The BCCI medical team is yet to fix a date for his return. The wicketkeeper and batsman is going to miss IPL 2023 where he is the captain of the Delhi Capitals franchise. In his absence, Australian opener David Warner has been named captain while Akshar Patel will be the vice-captain of the team. Pant had congratulated Warner on his appointment as captain even before the formal announcement was made, backing Warner to go all the way and win the elusive maiden IPL title for DC.
