Salman Khan threatening letter: Lawrence Bishnoi confirms gang involvement
Mumbai: In a major turning point in the Salman Khan threatening letter scandal, Mumbai police have identified the persons involved in handing over a letter to actor’s father Salim Khan. The information came from an investigation conducted by Siddesh Hiraman Kamble, also known as Mahakal, a member of the accused Lawrence Bishnoi gang.
According to the Mumbai Police, the accused Mahakal revealed that Bishnoi’s aide Vikram Bharath had taken the letter to Saleem Khan. He met the accused Saurabh Mahakala, ”police said on Thursday.
Police said that the perpetrators of the letter have been identified by the crime branch. “There are traces related to them. They will be arrested soon. As soon as they are identified, 6 teams have been sent to different parts of India,” police said. On Sunday, police asked Kamble who was holding the threatening letter on a bench in Mumbai’s Bandra area.
Meanwhile, the official said that some Delhi Police officials had reached Pune on Wednesday in connection with the probe into the murder of popular Punjabi rap singer and Congress leader Sidhu Moosewala in Punjab last month. Delhi Police on Wednesday said that Lawrence Bishnoi was the mastermind behind the murder of popular Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala.
Delhi police have arrested Siddesh Hiraman Kamle, a close associate of the mastermind behind the killing of singer Sidhu Mooswala in Punjab. Punjab Police on Tuesday said it has arrested eight people so far in connection with the brutal murder of Moose Walla. A police spokesman also said that a Red Corner notice was being sought against a gang of thugs named Rinda, Harwinder Singh Chandu of Rutok village in Tarn Taran.
