The marriage of pop princess Britney Spears was called off Thursday after her ex-husband entered the party, US media reported. Variety and other business media said Spears and her partner, Sam Asghari, were set to wed at their luxury pad near Los Angeles when proceedings were interrupted. Childhood friend Jason Alexander, whom the 40-year-old singer was rarely married to in 2004, stunned the police’s response to the sun-drenched incident.
Alexander apparently livestreamed his assault on Instagram, with footage showing him telling a security guard that he was invited.

AFP was not immediately able to confirm the report. Spears’ marriage to Asgari was not widely held back, only hours before news of the marriage appeared on specialist publications.
The couple said last month that the surprise pregnancy they announced just weeks ago had ended in a miscarriage.
