Shah Rukh Khan's badass avatar in new soft drink ad unleashes 'Toofan', fans shout 'welcome back Pathan'!


New Delhi: Ending his hiatus of several months, Shah Rukh Khan tweeted and it went viral. The King of Hearts, as his fans like to call him, dropped a video clip of his new ad ad for a soft drink brand and guess what? Fans are excited for the end.

SRK can be seen in long hair and he is in full blown action badass avatar with ‘Toofan’. He took to his social media handle and dropped the new Thums Up ad. He wrote: To hear the name my dear? Isco doesn’t say soft, they say storm.

Earlier, Salman Khan and Ranveer Singh have appeared in the advertisements of Soft brand. Looks like Shah Rukh has now been made the brand ambassador. He was earlier promoting rival cola brand Pepsi.

On the work front, Shah Rukh was last seen in Aanand L Rai’s Zero in 2018 starring Anushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif. He will next be seen in Yash Raj Films’ (YRF) Pathan, which stars Deepika Padukone and John Abraham in lead roles respectively.

It will also have a cameo of Salman Khan. Pathan is scheduled to release on August 15, 2022.
